Meet Our Team
Rev. Meredith VandermindenPastorI am joyful in Christ! I am inclusive and welcoming, and I value my journey with God as well as the faith journeys of others. I am strong and mature in my faith, but I am still growing in Christ everyday. I am grounded and I enjoy creating safe, nurturing spaces for people to grow in their faith. I love to preach, teach, lead worship, and mentor people in their spiritual growth. Spiritual formation has long been important in my ministry. I am a certified spiritual director, and I hold several other certifications in mindfulness, meditation, and yoga, all of which I use to help bring people closer to Christ. I received my M.Div. from Drew Theological School, and I hold a D.Min. in Arts and Theology from Wesley Theological School. I love creativity and I often incorporate creative ways to know God more deeply in my teaching and preaching. I am at peace with myself and who I am, yet I still rely daily and heavily on God to help me discern the way. I love to meet new people, and I welcome you to come to worship or stop by during my office hours for a chat. There is a place for you here at the Queensbury United Methodist. Church. I can't wait to get to know you!
Sandra JeroulisDirector of Music MinistryI came to the Adirondacks in 1973 to attend ACC nursing program and began my nursing career until I retired in 2017. I began attending QUMC more than 40 years ago, the organ had just been purchased. My daughter Stacia was baptized and confirmed here. In 2005, I accepted a position with Warrensburg United Presbyterian church as organist and choir director. With the recent opening here at QUMC I felt called to return. I have always felt that music has a special place in worship and will try to make it special for you.

Samantha RiversSchool Age Care DirectorSamantha has a strong background in leadership, loves working with children, brings fresh ideas for expanding our services and has a warm smile. She grew up in Westchester County but moved to our area 15 years ago. She and her husband, Peter, live in Glens Falls with three dogs and two cats. She enjoys crafting, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Samantha said working with children gives her the opportunity to positively impact them. "It is especially rewarding to see a child learn a new skill they have been working at, or to make a breakthrough in an area they previously struggled in, and to have the confidence to explore and develop their skills and knowledge," she said.
